The water discharge is expected to increase rapidly in small and medium sized rivers is expected. Local flooding and erosion damage. High flow/water level in comparison to normal seasonal variations. Situation that requires vigilance and may cause local damages Stay informed on the situation. Secure and/or move assets away from vulnerable areas (car, caravan along rivers/streams, basements). Cleaning of drainage paths and culverts is recommended. Keep away from rivers and streams with high flow.

From Wednesday evening through Friday morning locally up to 20-30 cm of snow in 24 hours is expected. Most likely areas to get snow are areas above 200 m.a.s.l. and inland regions. Most snow is expected during the night. Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected due to accumulation of snow. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads. Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
