The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Red Flag Warning for gusty winds and low humidity which is in effect from 11 AM to 6 PM MDT Sunday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low humidity is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 204 Eastern Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR. * TIMING...11 AM through 6 PM MDT Sunday afternoon and 11 AM to 8 PM MDT Monday. * WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph Sunday and north 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph Monday. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent Sunday and around 15 percent Monday. * TEMPERATURES...Up to 93 Sunday and in the 70s Monday. * LIGHTNING...None. * IMPACTS...Any fire start may spread rapidly and become very difficult to control.
