Flood Warning issued September 27 at 8:41PM EDT until September 27 at 11:45PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...The following counties, in south central Ohio, Pike and Ross. * WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 841 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Chillicothe, Greenfield, Bainbridge, North Folk Village, Cynthiana, Frankfort, South Salem, Bourneville, Knockemstiff, Summithill, Lattaville, Austin, Massieville, Scioto Trail State Park and Pike County Airport. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
